Media coverage, sponsorship of skills, financial contributions or donations in kind, patronage: no matter how you help us, it is key for the success of this project!

Companies: a key to competitiveness

Companies depend on biodiversity

  • Raw materials, natural regulations (water filtration, removal of pollution from soil…), tourism and recreation...
  • 40% of the economy depends on natural products and processes.

Companies have an impact on biodiversity

  • Direct responsibility, through its business and the products and services that it provides,
  • Indirect responsibility, through the choice of its partners (suppliers, carriers...).

Economic interests and opportunities

Initiating an approach based on understanding and responsibility in relation to biodiversity helps to consolidate the sustainability of your business by working towards its acceptance by society and by taking advantage of opportunities:

  • Boosting your ability to innovate,
  • Maintaining / improving your image,
  • Attracting "ethical" consumers and investors,
  • Unifying your teams,
  • Complying with / anticipating the legal environment.

By becoming a partner of ours, you are supporting a project that has a strong focus on both biodiversity and sustainable development, and you are committing yourself to your company's future.

Donations to the "A year for the Planet" association entitle you to a 60% tax deduction (1): if you give 1000€, your donation will only cost you, after the tax deduction, 400€!

Our partners' activities can be highlighted throughout each stage of our project. Let's discuss this together!

Public institutions, NGOs, Foundations: the response to a proven need

The most recent studies demonstrate it (2)

  • Even though the expressions "Sustainable development" and "Biodiversity" are starting to become familiar to people, their meanings and the issues related to them continue to be poorly understood.
  • Awareness campaigns must continue: 80% of French people realise that environmental protection is a crucial subject that warrants media coverage.

Action that is both relevant and innovative

  • Biodiversity is a global issue that is recognised as being a priority (3).
  • The main audience we are targeting, young adults and those that have an active role in their company, are potential agents of change for the short term.
  • We promote a positive message, featuring solutions.
  • We are implementing serious and original action in order to attract as many people as possible.

Why do organisations that promote Initiatives for the Planet adhere to our project?

These organisations have a major role in our project. We provide them with a real exchange: they dedicate their time to us, so naturally we want them to benefit from this experience as well!

Quality media coverage

Our project gives them a forum allowing them to showcase their work and convey their messages beyond the borders of their countries.

New sources of income

People who visit our website can make donations to the associations that are featured there if they wish. Moreover, if they offer accommodations or run an ecotourism business, they can also inform our visitors of this.

Volunteer assistance

We offer organisations the possibility of entrusting us with simple tasks (taking pictures of species on a natural site, translating their website into French...) during our visits with them.

(3) UN declared 2010 the "International Biodiversity Year".
